What is this photo ? Random pixelation in Khmer News.

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Yes for sure, but the kids these days won't believe it!

Around 20 years ago, there was an accident on the Chroy Changva bridge where a motorcyclist had been sliced in two. His body had been cut in half at the waist. There were photos of both halves which were about 20 meters apart.

I'm glad the news stopped doing that but it's still a thing to share such images on Facebook as soon as there is a traffic accident or similar.

There has been a few over the years that were harder to forget than others that's for sure.

They may as well have a coloured square to represent each of the perps, and name them like reservoir dogs characters.

Does anyone recall the rape victim posed with one of the green shirts for the ubiquitous photo opportunity a few years ago?
Strikes me that there is a department for taking insensitive photos, and a department for fucking up any and all photos, and neither one has a clear understanding or job description, possibly headed up by a Maj. Frank Burns type.
