Cambodia News (Battambang Province): On January 5, 2022, in Prek Mohatep village, Sangkat Svay Por, Battambang city, a 42-year-old man, Seng Chanthy, a phone mechanic, was found dead in a phone shop.

At 6:20 am, the victim's nephew called for help when the victim had not responded to his calling many times. After he and his friends broke into the shop, they found the victim lying on the ground. The nephew tried to wake the victim up, but when he touched the body, he received an electric shock. Luckily, he was quick to kill the power switch and release himself from the shock.

Unfortunately, the man was dead long before they came to the rescue. The police autopsy also confirm that the cause of the victim's death was electrocution, and the body was given to the family for the funeral.
