Much as seeing the apartheid end was heart-warming, I cannot help but notice that the place has turned into an absolute shithole since the monkeys took control of the zoo.

So that's a bittersweet accomplishment, but I'm sure he had the best intentions for his people and his country. RIP.

Right shame to see what happened to South Africa. Regrettably, post-Apartheid the corrupt elite under Zuma literally got away with murder because as soon as someone questioned their behaviour, they were accused of wanting to bring Apartheid back.
