ABA App not working

My ABA app now wants to be re-set up. It is asking for phone number, username and, critically, existing password. At this point I bailed out.

Has anyone else had this? Is this an app software failure or just a routine re-entry of information. Or has my phone been hacked with a fake ABA app icon that now wants my information?

I'd suggest going to an ABA and having them sort it out or this could be another event where it goes down for the whole day and everyone panics

I’ve had this happen before when the app was updated. And more recently, when I had to reset my phone, and the app couldn’t recognise its own sms code. Sorted in 5 minutes at Toul Kok.

As an aside- in the past, I’ve usually been to the ABA branch at central market. Many of the staff there have been downright arrogant, rude, and unhelpful in equal measure.
At Toul Kok (from recent experience), they seem to have a completely different approach. Polite, and helpful.

To be 100% safe open the Google "play store" search "ABA Bank" and either reinstall or update your app

I wouldn't waste time on a trip to the bank, just to get wrong info from a brains trust of five conferring idiots in ABA uniform

All fixed and they let me set a new username and secret word so I can reset it in the future.

Wrote it down somewhere safe so maybe it can reset in the future without going into a branch
