Cambodia News, Svay Rieng Province: The force of the Criminal Police Department led a joint investigation to crack down in Svay Rieng province at noon on December 28, 2021, resulting in the arrest of a Chinese male factory worker, on the run from the law.
XIAO WEN, a 34-year-old Chinese man, is accused of the murder of a Chinese woman which occurred on the night of December 25, 2021, at the Koul Den Grace factory in Anlong Kong Thmey village, Sangkat Prey Sar, Khan Dangkor, Phnom Penh. Combined police forces tracked the suspect from Phnom Penh to Svay Rieng, where he was arrested and taken into custody.

The assailant, XIAO WEN, was living and working in the Koul Den Grace factory as a factory hand, and the murdered woman, DING LI, a 37-year-old Chinese woman,was a factory manager, also living in Koul Den Grace factory in Anlong Kong Thmey village, Prey Sar commune, Dangkor district, Phnom Penh.
Currently, the Criminal Police Department has sent the suspect for further questioning in Phnom Penh. The motive for the murder has not yet been disclosed.
