Cambodia News (Phnom Penh) On Sunday, 5 December 2021, a man was seen driving a Toyota Camry across the Russian Federation Boulevard with a female passenger (both Chinese Nationals) at high speed, lacking caution, when he collided with a motorcyclist at 9:30 pm in front of Borey Evod in O Bek Kam, Sen Sok, Phnom Penh.

According to sources, the couple turned left at the scene of the accident while crossing the road at high speed, crashing into a black Honda Dream C125 motorcycle coming in the opposite direction at high speed too. The motorcyclist did not apply his brakes in time and hit the side of the car, causing him to fall on the pavement and hit his head against the lamp post. He was seriously injured.
The victim was immediately taken to the hospital by ambulance, while the driver of the car was arrested and handed over to the authorities.

Local police contacted the traffic police to collect the motorbike and the car for processing later on.
