Cambodia News (Banteay Meanchey): On 27 November 2021, officers from the Provincial Consumer Protection, Competition and Anti-Fraud Department reported that they confiscated 1,577 kilograms of defective chemicals and expired foodstuffs, and destroyed them in Sangkat Poipet, Poipet City, Banteay Meanchey Province.

The goods that were destroyed by the authorities had previously been confiscated from markets, shop houses, warehouses, and transport vehicles. The goods destroyed include noodles, orange juice, soft drinks, dairy products and other food items.
