Nah, it's actually bat and baek. (off - on) (close - open)Freightdog wrote: ↑Fri Nov 26, 2021 12:01 pm
Even EDC electricians this morning kept yelling
Bat phleung (turn off)
Bat phleung (turn on)
Bat phleung, bat phleung (turn it off again, I think….)
baek
បើកភ្លើង baekphleung

Yep, when it comes to electricity, it's always handy to know which is 'on' and which is 'off' .Username Taken wrote: ↑Fri Nov 26, 2021 6:41 pmNah, it's actually bat and baek. (off - on) (close - open)Freightdog wrote: ↑Fri Nov 26, 2021 12:01 pm

Re: How Many Stupid Deaths from Electrocutions in Cambodia ?
Province villagers caught in a thunderstorm believe that standing on one leg will protect from lightning.
Good luck bringing them up to western electrical safety standards.
In addition to poor electrical house wiring, lots of appliances with frayed wires, etc., continue to be used way beyond their safe lifespan.
That and the belief in karma. Time to die can’t be stopped by any amount of safety.
This is just my opinions.

Unsure if related but a few people -- girls and guys I know-- They shut their phone off when raining or when they sleep. Or-- they just don't want to speak with me and up to something else lol
Manhattan keeps on making it, Brooklyn keeps on taking it

They think lightning can travel through the phone like a landline

Phones connected to electricity can still kill the users.
