Women Badly Injured in Bag Snatch for 20,000 Riel and a Phone

Cambodia News, (Pailin Province) : According to the report of the specialized police officer of Sala Krao district, at 3:17 pm on November 23, 2021 in Ou Beng village, Pailin Province, three thieves on a motorbike, armed with a samurai sword, attacked and robbed two women victims who were riding a motorbike along National Road 57.

According to the competent experts, the first victim, Seth Mom, a 24-year-old female, broke her left leg, and the second victim, Seth Duong, a 40-year-old female, suffered injuries to her right arm in the attack.

One of the suspects, Sun Piseth, a 26-year-old man, was arrested immediately, and the other two suspects who escaped are being investigated by specialized forces. They have not yet been identified because they are currently on the run.

It has been confirmed that the missing items from the stolen bag are : 20 thousand riels ($5) and 1 mobile phone.

Once again it's the criminal person's who target that of an opportunity to take some other person's possessions, knowing too well that they may even harm or put that person in danger by their selfish criminal intentions.
There had been talk on the forum that with the effects of the pandemic this type of crime would probably increase. Has that happened or not.

From 2011-2015 we were attacked by bike gangs 4 times on Russian Blvd, travelling towards the airport....That road is a lot better now...
