What will you do if you get Covid?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

I seriously appreciate your sentiments Armchair (probably because of my respect for you) about "just putting some info out there"
But there are unfortunate side effects >> misleading bullshit.

ie eg Somebody else enthusiastically joins in with the advice of a DR Something - which you endorse with a rep point - all good.
Except he is in fact a retired nurse.
Where else have you been misled? What other info and recommendations posted here are not correct.

Do we really have to go thru everything you mob say with a fine tooth comb to see if it stands up to basic scrutiny?
YES, because this is not political opinion or social commentary you are posting. It is Medical - ie a matter of life and death.

It's funny how personal treatment protocols have become the subject of community conversations. I can't remember the last time I discussed how to deal with my malaria with a bunch of folks. I just got on with whatever my body was telling me, and responded accordingly.

So much for medical privacy in the post covid era.

Exercise common sense, use your intellect, listen to your own body, and be at peace with any choice you make.

I thought better of you Stern. When you watch Campbell's videos it is easy to see he has a deep knowledge of Covid and of how the human body works. Before Covid began he did an excellent series of videos on many parts of the body and diseases. The respect he earned from that led to the massive following that he has now. He has a gift for explaining things to non-medics and he is keen on debunking the mystery of medicine. And he has video converations with top guys such as Prof Tim Spector.
There is much to admire about him.
I don't get too hung up on qualifications. There are many doctors who don't know diddly about Covid, either because they specialise in different areas or they are simply not keen on learning. It is obvious that Campbell has a lust for learning about Covid and he is respected in the medical community for that and for being impartial. He constantly reviews articles from the medical journals and distills them for our undertanding. He makes it very plain that the vaccines are a very good thing and any adult who refuses them is nuts. On the other hand, he calls out egregious cases of manipulation of the data and the media that always seems to serve the interests of governments and big pharma. He also calls out governmental health advise and recommended practice that may be out of date or wrong, eg on aspirating when injecting the vaccin, or on recommended vitamin D levels.

As for FLCCC, I would not dismiss them just because they ask for donations or promote a book. They obviously need funds to operate the website.
Maybe they are wrong about the way they treat Covid but they have had a lot of success in treating patients. Nothing is for sure on Covid treatment except that big pharma will make a ton of money from their new in-patent drugs and billions of people in the world will never be able to afford them. If you don't want to use the FLCCC protocol then don't. I'm puuting out the valuable information of how to gather the necessary items in Cambodia if you want them. If you don't, then fine.

I added a disclaimer to the OP, just making it more than obvious that this is all just a discussion, and anyone seeking actual medical advice should TALK TO THEIR DOCTOR.

Not sure about the availability, but you might want to get one of those blood oxygen level testers, as I've heard of at least one friend who had that and rushed to the hospital when their levels dipped (which from my understanding is when it really turns serious).

I'd probably go with option 5, lol.

Since i and assume most on here, have had their 2 shots, some might even have had a booster
So even if you do get covid , chances of it being serious are slim.
i'll just wait it out, same as when i had malaria, dengue and various other shit over the years

Rest, drink plenty of water, take something if i am in pain

Agree on 5, and the whole wait-and-see approach has worked wonders in this department.

Watch out for doctors, if you don't know them personally, in your family or circle of friends.

I've been doing pretty well so far, struggled a bit at first with diarrhea, and I'm fine with the privacy issue as well,
it seems pharma has turned the world into some kind of injection nightclub. A place where logic has no reason.

I had covid about 6 months ago... For me was likened to mild flu symptoms for a week and then it passed.
