Huge fine for TripAdvisor for misleading consumers

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Yeah, I consider all that to be the reader's fault. People need to just understand how these platforms work and that you can't believe everything you read on the internet, good or bad.

I have checked linkedin about this vaile.

he has ages of experience in social media and marketing.

what run into him, when circulating such a mail is beyond believe.

this can be really said much differently, while everyone would get it or those, interested my inquire about such a service. but to say that so blatantly open, puts that marketing company in to the no-go-area.

who would want to have them working for them, now?
to be linked to them... in any way... ?

Ok, thanks to Notorious Ned for finding some proof on the matter!

The email message is in fact REAL, as Steven Vaile has ADMITTED it!

I will make a new post below providing the proof...

Ok, now they say that it was an old service that was offered but never used - sure sure. Given the power of TA good or bad reviews, it seems like an obvious money-making scheme/scam and they are not the only ones. :fool:
