Tik Tok super star steals mobile phone to join Water Festival merriment

A Tik Tok super star, Thorn Sokha who disguises her role as a man and calls herself as Sokha was arrested by police on Thursday for allegedly stealing a mobile phone from a woman at Tboung Khmum province.

This came as a shock to many of her fans and Tik Tok players who could not believe that she stole a mobile phone as she had no money to participate in the Water Festival walk around.

Police said Sokha, a 28 year old jobless woman had stolen a phone from Rom Sreypov, 38 at Soung city’s Soung commune.

Sreypov informed the police of the snatch theft and they managed to arrest Sokha in the same vicinity.

At Soung city police office, Sokha confessed that, “I steal the phone because I don’t have any money to go for a walk with my honey during the Water Festival.

Following her confession, police recorded her statement and referred her to the court.

Meanwhile, some Tik Tok players said that Sokha was not a good person as she was arrested many times but was bailed out by some good souls as they did not want her to go to prison.
