New USA entry rules re: Covid
New USA entry rules re: Covid
State Department released requirements for travel to US starting Nov 8
Basically, need WHO approved vaccine (both doses) at least 14 days prior to travel and a test 72 hours prior to flight. There are a few exceptions for travelers from countries with very low vaccinated rates (less than 10%) and for health reasons.
If you are an unvaccinated American, you must get a test within 24 hours of your flight.
In a strange twist these rules are welcomed by Europeans but for those from elsewhere in the world represent stricter requirements than currently exist.
