Internal flight bookings
Hi all. What is the current situation with internal flights?
Now that tourist visas are available I'm planning to be there late Dec and through Jan. I just tried looking up flights from PP to Sihanoukville and there's no schedule on Cambodia Air.
Nothing on Skyscanner either.
I had assumed internal flights were operating but I may have been wrong?

I believe most domestic flights are from PP to Siem Reap these days. The PP to Sihanoukville route is very thinned out. If you would like a short travel time it might be worth looking a the new PP-Sihanoukville-expressway.

Is that decent route then, fully open? I haven't been in the country since March 2020.ArminLaschet wrote: ↑Sun Oct 24, 2021 1:36 pm I believe most domestic flights are from PP to Siem Reap these days. I don't mind a long car journey if the road is decent. Last time I took a 4 hour road journey (not to Sihanoukville) it was hell - roads ripped up, jams the whole way.

Re: Internal flight bookings
Even the domestic flights have been cancelled. Lanmei Airlines used to have weekly Phnom Penh - Sihanoukville flights still few months ago but seems currently they don't have them.
There have been actually less flights to Siem Reap (domestic or international) than to/from Sihanoukville. I think Cambodia Angkor Air has done some flights between Phnom Penh and Siem Reap but nothing frequent.
Let's see if the domestic flights continue early next year once the country is more opened.
The Phnom Penh - Sihanoukville expressway is not completed yet. Will be ready in Q4 2022.

Anyone done the journey by road recently on what's currently finished?
