Correcting personal information on a Vaccine Card

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Correcting personal information on a Vaccine Card

Post by STEVITO »

After a 10 week wait finally received my vaccine card in Siem Reap.
Whilst they managed to get the name correct my telephone number is one digit out. It doesn't sound like much but stops me linking the card to my phone. In that case when I 'scan in' at a shop I will show green, and not blue. It means having to take the card around with me to prove I have been vaccinated.
It's not the end of the world I guess but wondering if anyone had any luck changing details on a card. I know some names were spelt very incorrectly. It should be the simplest thing in the world for someone in an office to log in and change the number from 4 to 7 and done. But of course simple things can become complicated...
We did ask at the place the card was collected. However, the reply was that we would need to wait until all cards were collected, then any incorrect would be sent back to be amended and that it could take some time. I bet.

The 2 kinds of cards we have need no linking to a phone just scanning of the QR codes on the cards. Then, for the blue cards, enter the card number and birth date then do a screenshot of the information. The white picture card just needs birth date after scanning then press the button to download the card information.

The military guys at active vax centers can edit your file.
Go there and offer a service fee

Presumably, and if you're not in a hurry, you can get it edited when you get your booster? They misspelt Mrs Cargo's name and she's going for her booster on the 30th.

You can simply log into your profile on the vaccine website (the one that opens when you scan your QR code on the vaccine card) then scroll down and click on REQUEST TO UPDATE INFORMATION

Thanks. Was thinking it's still a while before the booster is due. But actually it's around 5 Dec which will come around quickly enough!
