Nah, but if you'd rather eat BK go for it.JBTrain wrote:You know you lost most of us there.Joker Poker wrote:Then came the extras: egg, beetroot, cheese, pineapple.sigmoid wrote:Wow, I can't believe you guys actually eat that shit, much less even think it tastes good.
It's not really food.

Fairly confident any Aussie over the age of 35 would still have a physical response to the thought of an old fashioned hamburger with egg, beetroot, cheese, pineapple AND bacon.
Bodge: This ain't Kansas, and the neighbours ate Toto!

I forgot the bacon - DOH! Never liked cheese on burgers that much, but I could go the rest.

For all but Australians/Kiwis that physical response would likely involve vomiting.StroppyChops wrote:Fairly confident any Aussie over the age of 35 would still have a physical response to the thought of an old fashioned hamburger with egg, beetroot, cheese, pineapple AND bacon.

I didn't want to be the one to tell him, JM.

I'll be nice to you coz you are new, but I suspect you've never tried it. Some people like tap water - always tell me they're either a smoker or they have no taste buds. Now extrapolate that to burgers.JBTrain wrote:For all but Australians/Kiwis that physical response would likely involve vomiting.StroppyChops wrote:Fairly confident any Aussie over the age of 35 would still have a physical response to the thought of an old fashioned hamburger with egg, beetroot, cheese, pineapple AND bacon.

The vegimite analogy was perfect. That was a dropped microphone moment in my opinion.

Re: A tale of 2 Burger Kings.
Spent some time in ClogLand with Mrs Stroppy visiting her rellies. They 'stock up' for the frozen winter over there and one of their favourite carbs is hot chips with mayonnaise and satay sauce. Took a while to get used to, but quite fond of it now. I have a favourite comment: in Holland every meal is deep fried fat. Dessert is distinguished from main course because it is deep fried fat with icing sugar.Milord wrote:How about vinegar on the fries(chips)? Yumm.

I have sold an Oz Burger at Garage for years. I eat the things I sell, though in this case only once.Mrs Stroppy wrote:Don't knock it until you've tried it
