Let's go Brandon

Yeah, that place out 'there'. Anything not really Cambodia related should go here.

Ugh...yet another Trump, US politics topic or post. Talk about domineering this forum...not picking on you in particular OP...but that's how it seems lately with US politics and conspiracy theories et al.

Perhaps we could put all these under a dedicated topic 'All to do with US politics' ...wait, this one seems appropriate..'Let's go Brandon' post516720.html#p516720

Wait until the world has to write Trump's eulogy, that'll be fun.

Something of similar taste

I find that this statement from the Devil himself is with far more shame!;
"Laura and I are deeply saddened by the death of Colin Powell," said George W. Bush. "He was a great public servant, starting with his time as a soldier during Vietnam."

Merged this with the 'Let's Go Brandon!' topic, as we can't have so many Trump-obsessed topics here. :good:
"Life is too important to take seriously."

"Life does not cease to be funny when people die any more than it ceases to be serious when people laugh."

Best move ever!
Hopefully all left/right derailing will be put here.
Nearly every post has increasingly been afflicted lately.

President George W. Bush is the devil himself? Worse than Stalin, or Hitler or Pol Pot? Did he personally personally hate Iraqis, grab them, line them up and shoot them just for being Iraqis?

Sorry, when comparing anyone you disagree with or dislike as the ‘devil himself’ that just dilutes your point.

No, but he led the military into the Iraq War, which claimed the lives of 460,000 Iraqis and 4,400 Americans. Over bullshit false intelligence, mind you.

Some Conservative commentators (Carlson and Coulter, specifically) admitted their horrible mistake in supporting the Iraq War and became non-interventionists. (Cue the 2016 election!)

The neo-con apparatus pushed me to vote for Obama in 2008. (Fat lot of good that did!)

One thing seems to be lacking in all these recent political threads.

The "Look what Biden has done! He's done this.. he's done that... and he's on the way to helping this, that and the other"

All I see are comments that equate to "At least he ain't Trump"
His ratings are underwater in a lot of key states leading into the mid-terms and I have seen polls showing support as low as 37%.
A Democrat poll found support in 7 key Senate battleground states at 41%.

He's fighting the far left over the $3.5T spending bill. Plus:
Inflation
Supply chain crisis
An open border

And then there's the Afghanistan withdrawal debacle, the current problems in China that will definitely affect America.

But hey, "At least he ain't Trump" right?
