Why must the people who kill, rape etc be given an excuse of unhappy childhood, bullying at school, ADHD, Bi Polar or mental illness etc?
Lets just accept that they have done the horrible deed because they are cutns who should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law and suffer the full punishment for their despicable actions.

What a surprise.

When Jo Cox (another M.P.) was murdered by a nutter with far right wing beliefs, that entire political group were elevated to #1 domestic terrorist threat. All were suspected. All were tainted. All were collectively responsible.

Don't expect any discussion about Islam and the relentless production of homicidal maniacs in the name of Allah.

David Amess: Police declare fatal stabbing of Tory MP a terrorist incident

Early investigations suggest a potential link to Islamist extremism, according to the Metropolitan Police

The fatal stabbing of Conservative MP Sir David Amess has been declared as a terrorist incident with “a potential motivation linked to Islamist extremism,” according to the Metropolitan Police.

The 69-year-old Tory was killed while meeting with his constituents on Friday at Belfairs Methodist Church in Leigh-on-Sea.

Police have arrested a 25-year-old on suspicion of murder.

The agency’s Counter Terrorism Command will lead the investigation into the stabbing, with assistance from the Eastern Region Specialist Operations Unit and the Essex Police. Police are currently searching multiple addresses in the London area as part of the investigation.

Yeah, that was a pretty obvious possible motive also, should have made the list, considering the number of similar attacks in the past

At the time I made that post, no information was available on the perp & I was theorizing that as a 38 year elected strident eurosceptic Tory who voted against same sex marriage and against abortion it was possible that someone from the other side of the political spectrum may have had it in for him

Yes, The Grauniad managed to restrain itself and did not suggest he had it coming! The massive clickbait earning potential would have made that very tempting for them.

BTW, gotta admire the flexibility of the English language. Two adjectives from one noun. Islamic and Islamist. Imagine the problems if the language only permitted one!

In the case of Somalian immigrants, they have probably been brutalised by off the scale horrors experienced in their origin country. In that case they will regard life as very cheap and act accordingly for the rest of their lives.
This is something that needs to be taken into account when the decison is made to admit them and grant them UK citizenship.
I'm not saying don't admit them but I am saying take it into account. Atm I don't see it being considered.
Besides the horrors of this attack, there will be the damage to democratic traditions as MP surgeries are withdrawn.
