Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): On October 9, 2021 a man died instantly on the spot due to an electric shock from an air conditioner while he was wiping a leak, in Toul Pong Village, Sangkat Choam Chao I, Khan Por Senchey, Phnom Penh .

The victim, 32-year-old Su Viseth, was staying at the scene. According to sources from the residents living next door, the victim said that before the incident, he saw the air conditioner was leaking in the house on the first floor, so he took a cloth to wipe it. This caused an electric shock and the man died instantly on the spot.

Separately, other sources said that the rain had flooded the front porch of the air conditioner, which was placed on the ground, causing it to short-circuit.

Authorities say please be careful, because this is a lesson, that if you have a house with air conditioning, the danger of electrocution can be invisible, especially during this rainy season.
