2 Chinese Men Attacked by Armed Gang in the Street

Cambodia News (Svay Rieng Province): At 11:30 pm on October 4, 2021, in Deum Po village, Svay Teab district, two Chinese men were attacked while walking down the street, by a mob of gangsters on motorbikes who were armed with knives and sticks . The victims were identified as 54-year-old Wu Xinmin, who got injured on the head and waist, and 47-year-old Zhou Kang, who got injured on the right arm.
Both of the victims work for Yang Sun factory in the GIGA Resource Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Svay Rieng province.

The victims could not identify the gangsters, but they remembered that there were five or six of them. The nationalities of the attackers has not been released as police continue to investigate the incident.
The victims were taken to the hospital, and their days are not in danger.
