Getting Shit Faced

Being the drunk that I am, it takes little excuse for me to get shit faced and I'll raise a glass to almost anything or anyone - yes, even that fat fuck in the red suit once a year. Mostly I just get shit faced because I can. Two nights ago I sat drunkenly defeated on some path steps until first light unable to navigate the labyrinth of small alleys to my new abode. Fortunately an old Indonesian man guided me to my place detouring kindly from his early morning business so I could get home - I still don't know how he new where I lived.

Anyway, I was curious (or maybe trying to make myself feel better) as to when the last time you got shit faced. Also, are you more likely to get shit faced due to a particular occasion, or is it more happenstance? Perhaps you're like me and are far too regularly shit faced.

When was the last time you got shit faced and why?

Without the drink I'd quickly realize where I was, what I was doing and have very little understanding of how I got here.
