Ironically, seems Australia got delayed by the US for the submarines delivery, and now Australia is thinking back about those French subs, between other potential suppliers...

AUKUS is a much better deal in the long run for Australia.

Like taking mrs right now and not mrs right.

Nuclear subs are a tremendous capability over diesel electric.

France will provide subs, but not give the Australians the ability to build more of them on their own.

The AUKUS deal not only provides nuclear subs, but the infrastructure to build their own nuclear subs in the future.
