Some of that kit is probably the most nutrition the majority of their population have ever had.
People of the world, spice up your life.

“correlation is not causation”armchairlawyer wrote: ↑Thu Sep 23, 2021 7:57 am Dr John Campbell reports on the phenomenal success of India in reducing the severity of its Covid outbreak. They achieved this largely without the help of vaccination. Not because they don't believe in it, they just didn't have the ability to do it due to the vast population numbers. So, instead they managed it by various means including handing out medical kits. The resuts in Uttar Pradesh (population 204 million) were so impressive, the WHO reported in a complimentary way.

Unfortuntely space prevented the WHO from detailing what was in thise kits. The answer, in case you're interested, is:
Ivermectin, Doxycycline, Vitamin D, Vitamin C, Vitamin B, Zinc, Paracetamol, Thermometer, Pulse oximeter (total cost $2.65 per kit).

Further to my post about what vaccines may or may not be acceptable to the US Government, the UK Government has set out their rules for what qualifies for the term "Fully Vaccinated". It is not good for any Brits who have received SinoVac or SinoPharm, as it is not recognised.armchairlawyer wrote: ↑Wed Sep 22, 2021 12:29 pmYou may be right but why be abusive? It ruins your point. I guess you're too young to know that.
There is little consistency over what vaccines are acceptable throughout Europe, for example Croatia sets out what vaccines are acceptable - AZ, Pfizer, SinoPharm and Sputnik and Jannsen (note - Not SinoVac) but their neighbours, Bosnia Herzegovina, just want a Vaccine Certificate with specifying any brand. Spain accepts both SinoVac and Sinopharm but Italy accepts neither of them.
It's a bit if a minefield out there and constantly changing. The EU loves one rule for all and when they get round to imposing it regarding vaccines, it might not be good news for Chinese vaccines recipients. Neither Germany nor France accept them, so that's a clue.**
Travel from the rest of the world if you are fully vaccinated
From 4am Monday 4 October, you will qualify as fully vaccinated if you are vaccinated either:
under an approved vaccination programme in the UK, Europe, USA or UK vaccine programme overseas
with a full course of the Oxford/AstraZeneca, Pfizer BioNTech, Moderna or Janssen vaccines from a relevant public health body in Australia, Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Bahrain, Brunei, Canada, Dominica, Israel, Japan, Kuwait, Malaysia, New Zealand, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan or the United Arab Emirates (UAE)
Formulations of the 4 listed vaccines, such as AstraZeneca Covishield, AstraZeneca Vaxzevria and Moderna Takeda, qualify as approved vaccines.
You must have had a complete course of an approved vaccine at least 14 days before you arrive in England.
Where 2 doses of a vaccine are required for a full course, you will be able to:
mix 2 different types of vaccine, for example Oxford/AstraZeneca and Moderna
have the 2 vaccinations under 2 different approved programmes, for example Australia and Japan, UK and USA, EU and Canada
Until 4 October, mixed vaccines are only permitted if you are vaccinated under the UK, Europe, USA or UK overseas vaccination programme.

“correlation is not causation”

A misleading phrase. Yes, it's not precisely the same as causation and coincidences do happen. But most of the time, they are the same.
Data show people with a bacterial infection who take antibiotics tend to get better. Are you going to say correlation is not causation?

Ice cream and drownings are correlated.
The point is there is no comparable data in the Indian case or with ivermectin generally.

Memes are great, and handier than actual research. You obviously haven't read the article our friend posted on correlation so I'll just pass on further comment. Ice cream and drownings.

A ray of hope...
'Covid is going to just become a cold':
Vaccine pioneer says virus will get weaker all the time as Whitty says every child is going to get it, unless they are jabbed
The woman who created the Oxford vaccine has said Covid is unlikely to mutate into a much deadlier variant and will eventually just cause the common cold.
Professor Dame Sarah Gilbert said 'there aren't very many places for the virus to go to have something that will evade immunity but still be a really infectious virus'.
She said viruses tend to 'become less virulent as they circulate' through the population, adding: 'There is no reason to think we will have a more virulent version of Sars-CoV-2'.
Dame Sarah said the virus which causes Covid-19 will eventually become like the coronaviruses which circulate widely and cause the common cold.
Her comments come as Professor Chris Whitty warned that almost all unvaccinated children will become infected with Covid at some point in the future and around half of youngsters have already caught the virus.
Speaking at a Royal Society of Medicine seminar, Dame Sarah said: 'We already live with four different human coronaviruses that we don't really ever think about very much and eventually Sars-CoV-2 will become one of those.
