Building a Tiny House
Re: Building a Tiny House
I would have not thought you were being sarcastic at all, it's a bloody expensive item, for a mini caravan that is. I would have thought built on a micro van would have been more appealing and may even warranted the price.timmydownawell wrote: ↑Tue Sep 21, 2021 11:09 amI nearly wrote something to that effect, but figured everyone would pick up on my sarcasm.phuketrichard wrote: ↑Tue Sep 21, 2021 11:01 amthats more than the price of the house i am building here fully furnishedtimmydownawell wrote: ↑Tue Sep 21, 2021 7:24 amAnd only $24,000! I wonder if business is good and the little tidy caravans are selling. On the Khmer 24 site they seem to have 4 to 5 of them.

City bus for sale, price around $7000, I would fit it out myself. Joking about fitting it out, but it is genuinely for sale.

Re: Building a Tiny House
I would have expected gold sink taps at that sale price, but you would have thought it would have air-conditioning.

Haha. I've since decided not to go ahead with this idea. But if I did I'd be putting solar panels above the roof and likely some kind of shading (pergola or awning) on the sunny side, both of which would help.

Air-conditioning would keep the tiny house cool, and I would imagine with insolation the unit would run efficiently with low costs.timmydownawell wrote: ↑Thu Oct 21, 2021 8:51 pmHaha.
