Re: Do you agree with mandatory vaccinations
I was gently ribbing my American friend Richard. You've been on the board 9 months and already have an "us" you think you speak for? Well good for yous champ. I know well people here I disagree with but respect and I'd beg to differ.Railroad wrote:Don't some of yous get sick n tired of certain Americans tellin' us what to do all the time?

Re: Do you agree with mandatory vaccinations
I wouldn't argue the point except to say that said taxes have pretty effectively reduced consumption here in the US. Another topic.Kigna wrote:if the state really cared about the health of its citizens, it would ban the sale of cigarettes, because every year in my country alone there are 80,000 deaths from smoking. but the state does not care about your health, he wants money and from the sale of cigarettes earns many billion in taxes.JBTrain wrote: ↑Sun Sep 19, 2021 5:53 pmYes I'm sure it's really about global warming rather than public health. You are correct, you don't apparently know what vaccination is for (seriously reducing risk of hospitalization and risk you'll transmit to others). Maybe read up on that for a start before throwing around the fascist card.Kigna wrote:In the employment contract it doesn't say that I have to get vaccinated so you can't fire me. Besides, there are over-the-counter drugs with which I can recover from covid. Then, even if I would be vaccinated, I can still get Covid. So I don't understand what vaccination is for .. It's just a form of fascism that opens up to a very bad future. You are telling me that if I don't get vaccinated I won't work anymore and I can starve !!!

just cause ur vaccinated does not mean you can't catch it or spread it> Vaccinated protects you...NOT others
Sorry i was not more specific in my poll
Mandatory mean you must have it if you wish to be sociable, travel, work etc etc leave ur home
Guess i should have added mandatory " EXCEPT for medical or religious reasons"
I still vote NO..
May as well forward a motion for a holiday on Santa's birthday. At least he is based on a real person.
No COVID-19 vaccine contains cells from aborted fetuses.
A replica cell line from a fetus aborted in 1973 was used to develop the AstraZeneca/Oxford University vaccine. However, the vaccine itself does not contain fetal cells.
New mRNA vaccines, such as those being developed by Pfizer and Moderna, are synthetic vaccines, sequenced on a computer in a lab, and do not use fetal cell lines in their production.

But for a person of the Catholic faith it's no problem burying thousands of indigenous children in unmarked graves?

Yes, you're right smoking in some countries is a big health issue. I mentioned in another post the issue of morbid obesity in Australia and the gov't does very little to proactively prevent it. So, I think there's an issue of perspective there.Kigna wrote: ↑Sun Sep 19, 2021 11:44 pmif the state really cared about the health of its citizens, it would ban the sale of cigarettes, because every year in my country alone there are 80,000 deaths from smoking. but the state does not care about your health, he wants money and from the sale of cigarettes earns many billion in taxes.JBTrain wrote: ↑Sun Sep 19, 2021 5:53 pmYes I'm sure it's really about global warming rather than public health. However, smoking and obesity are habits that are generally self imposed (although some can be learned/influenced from others) and therefore, the habit is generally not spread unknowingly to others (albeit there is the issue of secondary smoke in some instance). Also, people can choose to stop the habit. OTOH infection from covid (and in turn potential for death) can be spread unknowingly and not a choice (although a lot can be done proactively to avoid infection).
The other thing is, this pandemic is super contagious and if left unmanaged can spread exponentially in the population in a short space of time. The same can't be said for smoking and obesity.

come on fellas, why would you provoke this further?

Listen friend. God has given you free will to believe or not. He also left you free to sin so it goes without saying that if you kill, your place when you die will be hell. Those you speak of, I do not think were Catholics, but a Luciferian sect, like the one that exists today in the Vatican. With the fake pope bergoglio.John Bingham wrote: ↑Mon Sep 20, 2021 8:48 amBut for a person of the Catholic faith it's no problem burying thousands of indigenous children in unmarked graves?
Re: Do you agree with mandatory vaccinations
So if Pfizer says there are no strands of aborted fetuses, do we have to believe it? If I tell you to throw yourself out the window what do you do? Do you know that governments have signed contracts with pharmaceutical companies and signed the non-responsibility on adverse causes of vaccines? You know they've sealed these contracts, which means they're secret, no one can read them? Did you know that WHO is 80% funded by the bill & melinda gates foundation and pharmaceutical companies?timmydownawell wrote: ↑Mon Sep 20, 2021 8:25 amDrawing a long bow there:Kigna wrote: ↑Sun Sep 19, 2021 11:40 pmthe vaccine (experimental gene therapy) contains filaments of live aborted fetuses. for a person of the Catholic faith this is a problemPseudonomdeplume wrote: ↑Sun Sep 19, 2021 8:25 pm" religious reasons" ?? He has never been to Cambodia so what 'us" means, only the author knows.JBTrain wrote: ↑Sun Sep 19, 2021 11:58 pmI was gently ribbing my American friend Richard.
