It's not a competition, and noone’s in a position to judge anyway even if it were, but just to say that I don't know why 4 people think that my (part) 'story' is made up.
For the record, as odd and peculiar as it was, it was also as genuine, as spontaneous, as easy going, as caring, as understanding, as dynamic, as perceptive, as comfortable, as perfectly imperfect, and as fun a little friendship as you could ever hope to find, and for all the post-fun post-joy pain that it brought me, my own story would have had something missing without having had it.
I was never more at at ease, never more myself, never more companioned, and never more happy with any of the many girls I had the pleasure of meeting in Cambodia, than I was when I was with the one in my story, and I congratulate and celebrate with anyone – Prince or pauper - who finds the same.
And as far away as it is now: friendship, relationship, companionship, whatever it is you might want to call it; it was real in every sense.
So there.
