In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

Because might makes right. It seems the natural order of things that one nation will emerge to be the biggest bully on the block. I'm OK with it being the US instead of China. For now.

Surreal it was. I had the TV on while working so caught all of it live. Thought it was the beginning of the 3rd world war and stayed glued to the TV without sleep until the next evening.
