RE certainly have a lot of new bikes in the pipeline over the next year..
Classic 350, Hunter 350, 650 Cruiser, 650 Scrambler and a Himalayan Scrambler. Exciting times if you're in the market.
Sorry for no english vid of Classic 350 above. It's the only pre release vid I could find. I have to say, I like the look of this 350 more than the 500 Classic. The 500 has the old engine tech and is a bit of a beast with the vibrations. I suspect the 350 will be more popular here in Cambodia whenever it gets here.
Of course, then there's the other upcoming models to consider..

The last time I rode a Royal Enfield 350 Classic I took it and myself up the Rohtang Pass - Rohtang La रोहतांग दर्रा Himachal Pradesh, India. It was a very reliable motorcycle, and a enjoyable trip, but difficult in some places where the road was under ice water flooding, with many large submerged rocks to negotiate.
The pass is well-known for riding bikes and also hiking (I had done plenty of both in the area) but both activities can be treacherous depending on weather. The views of the Himalaya in the area are stunning, and beforehand we had done much trekking and climbing in the surrounding areas, and once we knew the snow ploughs started to clear the road, it was time to rent a bike. In some areas along the route the ice walls would be 15 feet high, but still along the way you can find camps serving hot food and beer, sometimes interesting areas where, not only were there the mountain views but the well off people of Dehli out learning to ski and enjoying the time that the pass is open, being approximately half of the year.
The photo my nephew sent to me only a few days ago of our trip up the pass starting from Manali.

Two good videos above on clutchcargo's posts. I wonder how Royal Enfield are doing with there sale in the KOW, more so with the pandemic situation. The price of the Lekh always seems a little confusing to myself.

The Brough Superior 103 hp Lawrence reflects its namesake most notably in design
We can see the appeal of swapping camels for motorcycles, which is exactly what the real Lawrence of Arabia did after the first World War. T. E. Lawrence—the fabled Welsh-born military officer, archaeologist and author—served in the deserts of the Middle East during the war, becoming known for his role in uniting bedouin tribes against the Ottoman Empire and making a grueling 70-hour dromedary trek. Afterward, his fondness for motorbikes was also renowned, especially those from Britain’s Brough Superior, founded by racer George Brough in 1919 but shuttered in 1940.
Who could blame him? Lawrence owned seven and, in his autobiographical work The Mint, waxes poetic about riding one: “He ambles at forty-five and when roaring his utmost, surpasses the hundred. A skittish motor-bike with a touch of blood in it is better than all the riding animals on earth, because of its logical extension of our faculties, and the hint, the provocation, to excess conferred by its honeyed untiring smoothness.” Tragically, it was while on the SS100 model that Lawrence swerved to miss children and crashed, dying from his injuries a few days later.
Brough Superior, revived in the new millennium by motorcycle connoisseur Mark Upham and industry veterans Thierry Henriette and Albert Castaigne and now based in France, recently debuted a model that salutes the brand’s ardent admirer. The 103 hp Lawrence reflects its namesake most notably in design. According to Castaigne, the executive director, “the model’s muscular and fluid line is inspired by the bedouin dagger that T. E. Lawrence wore on his belt… also evoked by the two protruding knife-like ridges that energize the shape of the tank.”
The hand-built bike features a titanium frame, carbon-fiber bodywork and a 997 cc V-twin four-stroke engine developed with French specialist Akira. In another nod to Lawrence, who was born in 1888, only 188 examples are planned, with European pricing set at roughly $80,000.

My dad had a Sunbeam S7, and a few of my old friends had British motorcycles, some still have today. I have never had one myself, due to the advise by the ones who did have them. I was told to leave well alone and get a Japanese model for its reliability.

Closest i ever got to owning a British motorcycle was my Triumph Mk 1 sedan. 1961. (quite rare, most of them are Mk 2's)
Bought it in 1991 with only 38,000 miles. Best car i ever owned - hands down.
Originally owned by that crusty old conservative sod Sir Howard Beale who bought it when he returned from being Au ambassador to Washington. (crusty - but he knew a good sports sedan with style when he saw one)
Immaculate, original condition. It had been in his family's garage since he died.
I love that British 1960's thing.
Despite what they say about British '60's machinery, it was as reliable as a Swiss cuckoo clock.
I had it all through the '90's. Still love it to death, well after it has passed on to some other lucky bastard.

Special Edition 2022 Triumph Bonneville Gold Line Models Announced
Eight special edition modern classics for one year only
Following the introduction of the limited edition Street Twin Gold Line model, Triumph announced it is giving the rest of its modern classics the same treatment. Unlike the Street Twin, of which only 1,000 units were produced and promptly sold, the new Gold Line Edition models will be produced only for the 2022 model year and will not be limited to a specific number.
The eight models receiving a special edition Gold Line Edition are:
Bonneville T100
Bonneville T120
Bonneville T120 Black
Bonneville Bobber
Bonneville Speedmaster
Bonneville Street Scrambler
the Scrambler 1200 XC
the Scrambler 1200 XE
Each Gold Line model will come in a special color scheme edged with hand-painted gold pin-triping. The gold paint is specially formulated from a mix of powdered color and a cellulose lacquer. This gives it the right level of consistency for striping, as conventional paint is too thin for this type of brush work. The golden striping is applied, usually in one continuous stroke, by one of six skilled artisans. The paint is then sealed with a final coat of lacquer and signed with the artist’s initials.
Mechanically, the Gold Line Edition models are the same as the regular model, including the updates introduced earlier this year for the 2021 year. Depending on the model, the premium paint schemes add an additional $750 to $900 to the MSRP. The Gold Line models arrive in North American dealerships in December.
