Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On August 7, 2021, at 1:30 pm in Leu village, Sangkat Svay Park, Khan Russey Keo, a 28-year-old Indian man whose name's SHRIRAM GUAN, a clothes seller, committed suicide by hanging himself in a rental room.

According to the victim's roommate, a 49-year-old Indian man, SYED JAMEEL, they both rented the room together 2 months ago. On the morning of August 7, they both got up as usual until 11:00 am, when Mr. SYED JAMEEL went out after lunch to sell clothes, leaving the victim behind.
At 1:30 pm when he came back from selling clothes, he saw the victim's motorbike still at the house and went to check on him. The room was locked, and he called the victim but there was no response.

The man then went to check through the back door, where he saw the victim hanging from the ceiling, and called for help from the neighors. The autopsy done by the police confirmed that he died from suicide and the body was kept at the Khmer-Soviet Hospital.

Another tragic death. RIP.
