Nachos

Discussions about restaurants, cafes, coffee shops or bars in Cambodia. Feel free to write any reviews you have, whether its the best burger you've had in Phnom Penh or the worse pizza in Kampot, we want to read it! Discussions about Khmer dishes are also in here, or you can leave your own. If you own a restaurant, feel free to let the expat community know about it here so that we can come check it out. Found a favorite cafe or have a place we should avoid? Tell us about it. Asian recipes & questions are always welcome.

Nachos

Post by Gazzy »

So guys, where would be the best place in town to order nachos? We prefer with ground beef and cheese. Obviously takeout, hopefully not too soggy on arrival. Thanks.

Try Lonestar on street 23.

I know the original owner was from Texas and it had a lot of the Tex/Mex on the menu which has been retained by later owners. They certainly did great tacos with sizzling hot plates of various meats and onions etc. Not sure about Nachos, but wouldn't be surprised.

Also, excellent Gumbo and fantastic ribs in a proper smoker.

Have you considered checking in a tex mex place?

Tacos Kokopelli or Lone Pine perhaps?

There's a few places in TTP, restaurants and box carts.

This one used to be pretty decent when it was running in Kampot, have not tried it in PP though.

It's nowhere near as good as when it was in Kampot. The one in Kampot was sold and is under new management and is doing a really great job.

There's also Al's Tacos, Bay Area Tacos, Dos Besos and basically all the Tex-Mex places will have some.

Easily taco corona or now known as lone pine. Great nachos and homemade hot sauce.

Lone Pine without doubt. 110% recommended, massive menu too ..
