ACTIVE MANHUNT
Joint Task Force GOLF21 was Established after the Brutal Rape and Attempted Murder of a 14yr old In Kompong Speu.

On the 25th July, 2021, at about 12 midday, a male neighbour of a 14 year old girl called her to come and assist him at his house located in Phnom Sruoch District, Kompong Speu Province.
The victim a 14yr old female went to help her neighbour, but upon entering his premises she was attacked and raped. The victim has fought to free herself from her attacker who has then launched a brutal attack on the victim using a hammer which has rendered her unconscious.
The male attacker has then fled the premises locking the victim inside. At about 4pm the family of the victim became concerned and commenced looking for their child. Neighbours heard cries for help coming from the attacker's residence and opened the door to find the victim semi-conscious suffering critical injuries to her head and body.
The victim was rushed to a local hospital. The CPU was contacted, and both the Homicide Investigation Team and Forensic Services team attended the scene. A crime scene has been established and forensic samples are being collected from evidence found at the scene and from the victim. Due to the severity of her injuries, the CPU arranged for the victim's immediate medical evacuation to Kunta Bopha Hospital in Phnom Penh where she has been admitted in a critical condition. The CPU will support the child and her family while she is being treated in Phnom Penh.
The CPU in conjunction with Kompong Spue Police Command, The ministry of Interior and MOI Office of Serious Crime has established Joint task Force GOLF21. A male suspect has been identified and an ACTIVE MANHUNT is currently underway.
"This child has been a victim of a vicious sustained attack that has left her with life-threatening injuries, she remains in a coma and in a critical condition. If the person of interest is reading this post I encourage you to surrender yourself to the nearest Police Station or Post as the task Force will leave no stone unturned in our efforts to find you, it is only a matter of time," said James McCabe Director Operations CPU.

Joint Task Force GOLF21 Manhunt continues as Victim is released from Hospital.
I am very happy to report the victim of the vicious Rape and attempted Murder has been released from the hospital this morning. The CPU Office of Victim and Family Services will continue to monitor her welfare and provided all required services to ensure her speedy recovery.
There is still an active manhunt being conducted by members of Joint Task Force GOLF21 comprising of the Ministry of Interior, Kompong Spue Police Command and CPU, who had been undertaking numerous searches across several provinces. "We will not give up until this offender is in custody," said James McCabe the Director of OPerations for the CPU.
