Sokha prices for quarantine have always been this. The only difference seems that now you can choose to stay there, rather than take the mystery bus. And it will likely be 15 day/night, not 14 as in the price list.

Food is palatable but portions are quite small.
You can also order extra meals at around the 10 dollar mark, and if you get bored of the nescafe sachets, they'll bring you a decent ice coffee for 3 bucks.

Can you opt out of the meals? Don't often need 3 a day

And surely if you are paying for the two week stay and the test is delayed by them there shouldn't be an extra day charged

Yes, you can. Or at least when I was there a few months back, you could.
You call down and order anytime. They'll bring it up as and when they feel like it.
Some meals were better value than others.

UK PASSPORT HOLDERS BE AWARE:

A UK passport holder who had pre-booked one of the quarantine hotels was informed on arrival last night that ALL UK passport holders are still required to quarantine at the Okay Boutique Hotel and are not permitted to stay elsewhere. The traveller was required to pay the $2k deposit on arrival, it appears they are applying this clause in the directive...

Not good news as I am a UK passport holder and due to arrive back on Sunday and had pre booked a hotel. Do you know if they got a refund from the hotel ok?

Sorry to go off topic on this. But it's quarantine related so, I'm gonna just go for it.

As soon as my quarantine is finished, can I go straight to the bank and get what is left of my $2000, or is there something I need to wait for?

I have the invoice from the hotel.

Generally it takes a few days, unless the process has streamlined somewhat.

@sousadeyy , yea off-topic, but...

For those unaware, the hotels don't manage the deposit funds, you collect your refund from the bank you made the deposit with upon arrival.

The itemised hotel receipt will list the room charges, meal charges and any additional charges such as laundry if utilised... Ensure you ask for the itemised hotel receipt upon check-out so that you can check they haven't charged you for anything they shouldn't have, do not sign any check-out documents until you have done so. Keep this and take with you to the bank in order to dispute any charges (ie. meals that you opted out of) (Note: Many people have reported their hotels not willing to issue the receipt, insist, or at least insist on them clarifying what you are being charged).

You will need the blue deposit slip you received from the bank you made the deposit with, and your passport in order to claim the unused portion of your deposit from the bank.

Your refund of the unused portion of your deposit is usually available from 5-7 business days following your release from quarantine. The bank will hold onto your funds for up to 12 months, so there is no rush to claim your refund.

If in PP your refund should be collected at the main branches (addresses are on the back of the deposit receipt, example below, which you need to keep safe), refund can also be collected from the Kampot, Sihanoukville, Siem Reap, Battambang branches of the relevant bank.

When you collect your refund, the bank should provide you with an itemised receipt. People have reported that Acleda refuse to issue this, CAB and Canadia Banks do. (Example below from CAB)

The below costs are fixed, these will be on the receipt you receive from the bank, not the hotel;
- PCR Test x2 (min) @$100 ea
- Transport @$5
- Med Staff @$6 p/d
- Security @$3 p/d
- Bank Fee @$30
