4 Chinese Arrested for Kidnapping in Sihanoukville

Cambodia News (Sihanoukville): On July 21, 2021, at 16:40 pm in village 2, Sangkat 2, a Chinese man was kidnapped by 4 Chinese men in a Land Cruiser Prado (Phnom Penh 2AZ-9381) near the Bao Tu Casino at the Dolphin roundabout of Sihanoukville.
The suspects arrested were identified as LAI XING YONG, a 32-year-old Chinese national who works as a casino service agent in village 1, Sangkat 3, JIA YONG SHENG, a 45-year-old Chinese national , HUANG YOU TAO, a 27-year-old Chinese national who lives in village 1, Sangkat 3, and ZHANG KE WEI, a 36-year-old Chinese national who lives inVillage 3, Sangkat 3.

The victim was ZHANG TAO, a 28-year-old Chinese national who is a businessman running a drinking water company. The suspects have been detained and are under interrogation for further investigation.

Yes, the main kidnap risks seem to be - Chinese rich businessman/woman, Chinese casino loser, or sometimes just being a Chinese or Taiwanese national is enough.
A lot of people consider that the Chinese are racist because they don't mix much with outsiders, but in the kidnapping-extortion business, this is definitely good news for the rest of us. :wink:

Are you rich? Like own your own home in central Beijing/Shanghai and have your own luxury car parked there?
