Experience with Bred Bank
Re: Experience with Bred Bank
Looked into it.
BRED bank seems a bad, I mean BAD choice to me. ATM's in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap (airport!) only, branches in Phnom Penh and Battambang only, means you might get into trouble when making even a simple few days detour to the beach. You will only have access to your money in three cities in Cambodia, and two of them only have one spot. it's clearly a Phnom Penh based bank. Fine for a phnom Penh based business, but not OK for Phnom Penh based employees.
When my employer would require me to bank with them I would run. If he can not cough up the dosh to send my salary into a well established bank in Cambodia he's not worth working for.

Re: Experience with Bred Bank
There are many ATMs of that BRED bank in seim reap ( I never been to the airport to confirm that one , it was a good discovery for me when the only UCB branch here closed down because of the chinese flu , they allow $2000 withdrawal for $4 , i was always happy with UCB $1000 withdrawal for $5 , compared to outrageous ATM fees ABA a charges to withdrawal of international .
