Looking for a lawyer you can speak to directly in English ? The UK Embassy has today released a new updated list of English-speaking lawyers in Cambodia. (See link).

The following list of lawyers has been prepared by the British Embassy, Phnom Penh, for the convenience of British nationals who may require legal advice and assistance in Cambodia.

It is provided on the understanding that we, the British Embassy, do not assume or undertake any legal responsibility, to you, or those affected, if you choose to take it into account when instructing a local lawyer.

Further and alternatively, we cannot accept any liability to any person or company for any financial loss or damage arising from the use of this information or from any failure to give information.

Our aim is to provide our customers with as much information as possible to enable them to make more informed decisions but our lists are not recommendations and should not be treated as such.

This is just what I need for my offshore millions.

They have international offices in the Seychelles, Room 13, Oceangate House, P.O. Box 203, Victoria, Mahe, Seychelles.

That was a very long and detailed disclaimer. That should tell you what the Embassy really think of them.

It’s probably a list hurriedly put together so that the helpful person on the phone, when calling them for assistance, can say “go and look on the website like everyone else”.
