Cambodia News (Thbong Khmom Province): On July 13, 2021, at 2:30 pm a police report was filed for the theft of 2 cows in Thmaream, Sen Propei village, Romchek commune, Memot district.
This event led to an epic police chase crossing 3 districts, which started from Memot district in Tombaer district, where 1 cow fell off the thief's vehicle after crashing into the police road block, then the thieves continued with flat tyres to the junction of National Road 7 and 8 in Ponhea Kraek, where another cow fell off the wagon and the vehicle came to a halt.
Then the suspects continued their escape on foot into the village,where they were arrested by the police. The suspects were Moeung Rith, a 22-year-old man from Tong Long village, Prey Khla commune, Svay Antor district, Prey Veng province, and Heul Dalin, a 22-year-old man from Sangvan village, Prey Khla commune, Svay Antor district, Prey Veng province.The police also seized a van, and 2 sachets of drugs.

The 2 stolen cows were given back to the villager and the 2 suspects were put in custody at the police station for further investigation.
