Cambodia News,(Koh Rong Island): Sihanoukville provincial authorities have reported that on July 7, 2021 at 10:15 am, a foreign man died in a private boat docked at sea about 200 meters in front of the Coast Guard Island No. 4, on Koh Rong Samloem island, off the coast of Sihanoukville.

RONALD GENE HILL, a 67-year-old American (USA) tourist, was staying on his sailing boat with his wife, MISS JENJIRA WAREEPHAT, 57, a Thai national.
Following the report, the administrative authority and the police went to protect the scene, waiting for the medical team to take the body and perform the autopsy according to the procedure.
RIP, and condolences to his wife and family.

My wife and I express our condolences to Jennie and Ronnie's family during their time of loss. Ronnie was a good guy and we'll miss him. May he Rest in Peace.

RIP and thoughts to his wife.

BTW, Is that the same guy who had a medical emergency on his boat and got saved by an oknha a few years back ? A friend of PR if I remember.

Jennie tried to have officials take the body off the boat in Koh Rong but they refused out of fear>
she had to take the boat alone, as nobody would go with her, across to Sihanoukville, a 3 hour crossing in bad weather, where they finally removed the body>
> she had navy friends of Rony's in snv to help her and the cremation is supposedly today>

They are long time friends of mine and he will be missed. Jennie will keep the boat and someday hopes to take it back to Ko Chang
