Laos Land Border with Cambodia Remains Closed

LAOS: According to an announcement dated July 5, 2021, the Laos government has set out measures to block the country for another 14 days from July 5 to July 19, 2021 to prevent the spread of Covid-19, and the Cambodian Embassy in Laos has called on all Cambodians living in Laos to be careful not to travel to risky places. All land borders will remain closed at this time.
The Cambodian Embassy confirmed that during the 14 days, Laos has decided to continue to close eating and drinking places, casinos, karaoke, entertainment venues, massage places, and sports clubs. In addition, all kinds of alcohol are prohibited and gatherings are not allowed throughout the country; those people living in a red zone must remain there and not travel outside the zone.
