Hospital experiences
There is the possibility of a serious operation needed and will insurance cover it? Maybe.
My lad was involved in a RTA and very nearly died. He needed brain surgery and thankfully has looked to have made a full recovery. In my youngest son's case there was a charitable children's hospital in Phnom Penh which enabled free health care - unusual for SE Asia. We donated blood and a little money in return.
I thank those organizations that gave me hope and the strength to go on, like the NHS in U.K. and Kantha Bopha children's hospital in Cambodia.
