Mystery of how French family flew to Cambodia from Singapore after testing unresolved
The mystery of a French family of three who entered Cambodia in the early hours of March 14, 2020 from Singapore after the male, aged 35, had tested for COVID-19 at a Singapore medical facility and was instructed to wait for the results on March 13, 2020.

However, it was learned that the next morning, March 14, 2020, the family of three boarded the first SilkAir flight to Phnom Penh and checked into an apartment block at Toultompong.

The Singapore authorities, have got the test result which revealed the male was positive for COVID-19, alerted Cambodian authorities who then mounted a search for the trio.

On questioning the car driver, he gave the address where he dropped the trio and also the telephone number.

Health officials came at about 730pm to whisk the male away for further tests and again he was tested positive. The infant was tested positive the next day while the mother, 28, was tested positive on March 23, 2020.

Khmer Times sent a list of questions to the Singapore authorities, seeking clarifications as to how the trip managed to leave Singapore when they were instructed to wait for the results.

The positive side of it is because of the island nation’s sophisticated tracking and tracking system, they managed to discover that the family had boarded the flight to Phnom Penh and quickly alerted the authorities here.

Irresponsible selfish gits. Singapore should have locked them up while waiting for their test results. They may have infected dozens of people on their trip.
