Scrambled Eggs - Phnom Penh Style
Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): At 9:30pm, on June 22, 2021, a Nissan pickup truck (Phnom Penh: 2AE-1712) carrying dozens of eggs, was driven by an unidentified man very fast down Street 289, in Sangkat Beung Kok 1, Khan Toul Kork, when it crashed into a street barrier, tumbled over, and spilt eggs all over the street causing public disturbance and chaos.
Fortunately, nobody was hurt in the accident, (except for the eggs), and the damaged vehicle was towed away to the police station awaiting further investigation.

Those end or start parts of the barriers, road dividers are just begging for someone to do just what this guy has done. They are a bad design and lethal, don't misunderstand me, overall the rest of the concrete barrier does what it's purpose is to do, serving has a road / lane divider, protection from oncoming or overtaking traffic in the opposite direction.
Unfortunately the start of them in the middle of a road is of a hazardous bad design. If there was room for a grass verge to separate the dividers on junctions, or even the water type concertina barrels, it would be a safer option.

Always "hope" but never "expect".

As long as you're not blind, and know how to drive a vehicle, they shouldn't be too much of a problem surely ?, 99.9% of people driving motorbikes, cars, buses, trucks etc along the road everyday manage to avoid not driving into themAndyKK wrote: ↑Thu Jun 24, 2021 8:37 pm Those end or start parts of the barriers, road dividers are just begging for someone to do just what this guy has done. HarryBF111 has won the Spot the Rotten Egg prize, and has justly been awarded one karma point by the CEO News team. It's good to know that someone cared enough to check whether the same egg truck had overturned twice. Now that would have been news!
Ok folks, the real story behind this story is that we have a new person in training, and a mistake was made with dates. This is work in progress and we learn by mistakes. Thank you for your patience.
