Sick Construction Worker Refused by 3 Hospitals
Update: A construction worker who was not feeling well went to 3 hospitals, but the doctors did not accept him. Suddenly, he lost his breath and died on the way.

PHNOM PENH: A construction worker died in a tuktuk after he was rushed to three hospitals, but the doctors refused to accept treatment and continued to transport him to another hospital, then he suddenly died halfway, causing a surprise at around 3:20 pm on June 16, 2021, along the Boulevard of the Russian Federation, at the bus stop east of Teuk Thla Market, Sangkat Teuk Thla Khan Sen Sok, Phnom Penh.
The victim, Hak Bunly, 57 years old, was born in Bati District, Takeo Province and currently resides in Khan Meanchey, Phnom Penh. According to sources at the scene, the victim was very unwell and died in a Passapp after being taken from a construction site in Beong Salang, Tuol Kork at around 1:20 pm on June 16; he was taken to three major hospitals, but was not treated by doctors there.
Immediately after the incident, local authorities surrounded the body and reported to the forensic section, then handed over the body to the family for the traditional ceremony.

Bad situation, they took him to Khmer Soviet Friendship Hospital, then Kossomak and finally to Royal? If those public hospitals wouldn't take him there's no way Royal is going to admit a construction worker unless he has a lot of money upfront.

Probably means the government hospitals are full of virus patients and can’t accept any more.
Obviously the private hospitals aren’t going to accept sick virus patients who have no ability to cover the costs of treatment.
Sad situation.
