In Cambodia, the responsibility for source of income for elderly generally falls on the younger generation of the family.

I know. Hence why I suggested to give it at the funeral. A little donation could act as some kind of a "kickstart" for the whole family, or just some additional help given the younger gen had started working, a business, etc.
