Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): A beautiful young woman, suspected of being drunk while driving a car, hit a motorbike while it was parked on a sidewalk with a child aboard. The mother had just stopped to do some quick shopping outside a pharmacy. The shocking incident happened at 8 pm on June 5, 2021 in front of a pharmacy brand twins along Street 257 in Khan Toul Kork, Phnom Penh.


According to local sources, a mother and her child were seen riding a red zoomer-x motorcycle with license plate number B-Meanchey 1T-6172 when they stopped at the scene. The mother went to buy fruit and the child was left sitting on the motorcycle, when a beautiful woman driving a car, with license plate Phnom Penh 2M-1312, arrived driving along Street 257 in the direction from south to north, when suddenly the steering wheel turned to the right, hitting the rear of the parked motorcycle. The child was injured, two helmets were broken, and the motorbike was damaged.


However, although the motorist saw that she had caused an accident, she did not stop to help the injured, and she tried to drive away from the scene, but she was chased down by local people and the police.

The accident victim was taken to hospital, where, at the request of the competent authorities, the woman driver agreed to pay for the damage and the hospital fees.

These DWB cases (driving while beautiful) are starting to get out of hand. Cambodia needs a MABD organization methinks.

Is that a red cellphone she’s clutching? Bingo! Likely cause right there.

I always click on them and 95% of the time I am disappointed.

How do they know she is beautiful, she's wearing a mask. She might have teeth like a mule and a hairy top lip.

I don't know why she was so quick to agree to pay for damages and hospital fees. After all, she didn't do it, the steering wheel did!

On the other hand, if she's ugly but have an acceptable body, and she keeps the mask all along (hole + straw for drinks), it widens the range of selection of these short-time friends...

We have saying in my country: After 8 beers all ugly girls go home.

I wonder what, if any, the extra penalty is for fleeing the scene of an accident.

In the West, especially if there are injuries, if you flee, your penalty increases by a factor of 10.

The fact is she "buatiful or not" drove on until stopped, causing a accident and injuring a child. The lame excuse of the steering wheel doesn't cut it, after she didn't come to a halt. Maybe she should have carried on at speed and joined the Chinese driver down at Chroy Changvar bridge.
