Battle of Gangs Ends in Stabbing
Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): On the night of May 29, 2021, two gangs of thugs started fighting all night, surprising the local people who called the police to disperse the fight in Russey Keo district, Phnom Penh.
Prior to the incident, a group of youths were seen shouting and even chanting, brandishing swords, sticks and knives, chasing and stabbing each other all night, causing the injured to bleed to the surprise of the authorities.
Witnesses at the scene said that there were people injured in the incident of stabbing each other; the stabbing victim was named Heng, male, 19 years old, and he his accomplices were sent to seek medical treatment at Family Hospital, located along Hanoi Street in Sangkat Kork Khleang, Khan Sen Sok, Phnom Penh.
Police in Sen Sok district went to Family Maternity Hospital to investigate the two groups of youths to be arrested, interrogated, and punished according to legal procedures.
