A man went out to catch fish and shocked himself to death

Cambodia News, Kampong Thom: On Wednesday, May 15, 2021, at 6:10am, a man went out to catch a fish by electicity, causing him to die from an electric shock in Veal Sre Keut village, Dang Kambit commune, Sandan district, Kampong Thom province.
The body of the victim was identified as Tith Pheng, male, 25 years old, living in the village-commune where the incident took place.
After the incident, the local authorities went to examine the body of the victim and confirmed that the deceased died from an electric shock while out fishing with an electrical battery.
The body of the deceased was handed over to relatives to celebrate the traditional funeral rites.
