Drunk Driving Bank Employee Hits Disabled Man in Wheelchair

Cambodia News, (Koh Kong): A drunk man drove a car into a wheelchair while traveling in the opposite direction, causing serious injuries to the victim, at 20:20 on May 22, 2021 at the point on the bridge in Village 2, Sangkat Dang Tong Krong, Koh Kong.

The driver, Lim Chanrithy, 43 years old, Khmer, occupation: ACLEDA staff in Khemarak Phoumin City, Koh Kong, collided with the person in a wheelchair at the above point on the road causing serious injuries, while the driver of the car was unharmed.

The victim was Meth Massey, a 23-year-old Cambodian-Muslim man with a disability who lives in the village at 4 Sangkat Dang Tong, Khemarak Phoumin City, who received head injuries. He has been sent to hospital. The accident was caused by the driver of the car driving drunk on the wrong side of the road.
