Re: new smart phone
Some like the Android ecosystem. I don’t. It’s a system designed to run on multiple phone configurations. There’s Android for the higher tier phones, and Android-lite for the lower ones. Plus the lock ins from the phone companies, often overlaid on top of everything.
Apple’s overriding philosophy is ‘it just works’.
No need to figure out the what’s in the developer’s brain.
Desktop to laptop Macs, iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches, Airpods, etc.
I like it.

I ditched Android for iPhone about 5 years ago. Never going back, good choice!

Re: new smart phone
Can I PM you with a question regarding re sizing photos either on my Macbook or maybe a setting on the I phone. I need the photos to be under 5MiB for a site I use for selling vinyl/records.
cheers
Re: new smart phone
Can’t really help much as I’m not using photo editing tools. In the past I’ve used online image resize sites but nothing fancy, I googled “image resize online” and picked one. There must be better ways to do it for people that need it frequently like yourself.tightenupvolume1 wrote: ↑Wed May 19, 2021 5:17 pmCan I PM you with a question regarding re sizing photos either on my Macbook or maybe a setting on the I phone. Re: new smart phone
On a MacBook it’s easy.
Download the photo.
Open in Preview.
Go to ‘Save As’
Select JPEG or some format that has a slider for quality. Lower quality means less space used.
Then ‘Save’
