Re: UK News, Updates and Discussion
In all fairness there are a tiny number of birth defects, people born with a mixed up gender. But i think what is happening now is a mix of LGBT propaganda, fashion and a type of mass hysteria . The huge rise in children attending the Tavistock clinic in London, a place that specialises in sex change/puberty blockers is disturbing.
"The number of children and young people referred to the service grew from 97 in 2009-10 to 697 in 2014-15." (from a news report)
One person who worked there remarked "at this rate there will no gays left"

Re: UK News, Updates and Discussion
These people (the vid ids ^^) just keep continuing to amaze me at their absolute incomprehension.
not only about other cultures in particular - but even the basics of talking about, let alone dealing with, the whole issue of cultural differentness.
^^^ these vids says it all.
It is a bit of a pity really - they could have achieved such global greatness, like the world probably has never before seen - but that they were not so entirely clueless about dealing with any culture different to their own.

Breaking News....
Not yet... but how about in 2 or 3 months? The UK is already on a Red List of many countries (e.g. most of South America, Singapore) due to the UK variant, despite it being everywhere now. These policies are quickly implemented and seemingly not rescinded.
India is now on so many Red Lists with complete bans of both direct flights and also having been there in the last 14 days. Some countries are just banning Indian nationals entirely. Nearly all of these were implemented well before the UK acted.
Reasons why this can't/won't happen to the UK in 3 months please....
As the UK has become overwhelmed by the Indian variant, countries all over the world have closed their borders to all travellers from the UK or travellers originating from the UK in the last 14 days, mirroring the policies employed against India 3 months ago.

The Prince of Privacy is at it again, this time with a cry-baby podcast about being sad and unhappy.

Prince Harry Tells Podcast He Contemplated Quitting Royal Life in His 20s: 'Like Being In a Zoo
The Duke of Sussex revealed the inner workings of what life was like growing up while speaking to actor Dax Shephard, host of the podcast Armchair Experts.
"I've seen behind the curtain, I've seen the business model, I know how this operation runs and how it works," Harry said, while recalling that he thought, "I don't want to be part of this."
Harry later described his youth as "going wild" and partying in his early twenties, while struggling with the social and emotional responsibilities of being within British royalty.
"I don't want this job, I don't want to be here, I don't want to be doing this, look what it did to my mum," Harry recalled thinking. His mother, Princess Diana of Wales, was thrust in the spotlight after her divorce from Prince Charles and later died in a car crash in Paris in 1997.

My Khmer partner is quite literally the worst singer I have ever, ever heard in my life. By far. I'm neither joking nor exaggerating. Imagine the worst singer on The X Factor and multiply it by a hundred. If I'm not told the song beforehand, I would have no clue as to what the song is supposed to be. There are no words in the English language to truly describe what a horrible, horrible experience it is to have to listen to.Doc67 wrote: ↑Sat May 15, 2021 11:47 am The Prince of Privacy is at it again, this time with a cry-baby podcast about being sad and unhappy.

The worst thing about it all however, is that my partner honestly believes he has what it takes to be the next Sam Smith / Justin Bieber / Ed Sheeran. He is the audio equivalent of anorexia. What he hears himself is so far removed from what everyone else hears, it's shocking that it could possibly exist in nature.
The reason I'm saying this is because, similar to my partners singing, Harry and Meghan seem to suffer from something similar, only so much more severe that it borders on mental illness. Despite the rest of the world screaming at them to just shut the fuck up and go away, they still have the ardent belief that what they have to say is of interest to everyone and they still hold a huge amount of relevance to ordinary people's lives. I feel like I want to gnaw my knuckles for them every time they speak about their latest message for the world. Much like my partners singing, what they perceive others to be hearing is a far, far cry from what others are actually hearing.
When it comes to singing though, it's a harmless bit of fun that can easily be laughed off. But to be public figures on the world stage and continue to be so deaf to the pleads of the world to just go away shows a level of egotism that's off the scale.

Well, both Harry and Megxit have publicly admitted to being mentally ill. There's no shame in it nowadays in the West, quite the opposite in fact. In practice of course, mental illness wouldn't be much fun unless you have fame and money and don't need to work for a living.xandreu wrote: ↑Sat May 15, 2021 1:39 pm
