2 week quarantine entering Siem Reap??
2 week quarantine entering Siem Reap??
Hi guys,
I have searched up and down for this and cannot find it so apologies if this has been answered or posted elsewhere.
Someone has informed me that there is a 2 week quarantine on entry into Siem Reap from in-country. I really didn’t think this could be possible to facilitate, however would like to check here first before traveling. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks

Re: 2 week quarantine entering Siem Reap??
I think the current situation is
the Siem Reap curfew has been extended for 2 weeks > post490624.html#p490624
corona testing is carried at the Kampong Thom – Siem Reap border before allowing entry into Siem Reap province. > post490821.html#p490821
If you test positive, not sure if you are denied entry or are put into quarantine.

According to my wife (she watches the Siem Reap news most nights) the 5 people they tested positive trying to enter were put into quarantine. But not exactly sure where. I do know that the hospital is still blocked off so perhaps they are placing everyone there.

Re: 2 week quarantine entering Siem Reap??
Someone posted the following info on FB this morning:
Quarantine lifted and checkpoint with QR code scanning and temperature check is done just after Stoung (before entering Siem Reap Province).
There is still a slight chance or possibility that you have symptoms and if suspicious they could stop you to run a PCR test and in case put you in quarantine.

Anyone hear of testing being done on those entering from Banteay Meanchey? Or leaving the locked down part of Poipet for that matter, is that even a possibility given that we have 12 more days to go here with the new lockdown date. I am anxious to go somewhere else, really anxious.
